| Meh, football is boring as all get out. Just a bunch of people running into each other on a flat field with random 5 minute breaks every few seconds. BORING!
I always thought the sport would be better if the field was more varied, with hills and water hazards and stuff... Might break things up a bit! |

Hey, what's that supposed to mean?! Let's see... "Not quick or alert in perception, feeling, or intellect; not sensitive or observant; dull." Hey, that's not nice! the only reason I ever act like that is for humourful porpoises! And the only reason most modern sports disinterest me is because they're so freaking boring! So little happens over such a long time! i could get through the entirety of WW2 in a game in the time it takes for one particularly long football game! I'm just saying, sports ares imply not an efficient use of one's time when it comes to partaking in manly activities. Stop living in the 1950s and get with the program here! |

| Now I can read about the Seahawk's dismal season instead of the Mariners! Oh joy!
Though I love the Mariners 20x more than the Seahawks. |

Oh sorry. I meant homosexual. And most football games are about three hours, so I do not understand. And it is not boring until you understand all the rules of the game. I used to feel the same way. - Dizzy wrote:

Don't worry. You're still in the NFC West so you might pull off 8-8. |

I take even further exception to that remark! And besides, that there is three hours of my life in which I could be doing far better things than watching some random, overpayed jerks continually running a few yards and then sitting around for 5 minutes to set up or whatever. I mean, honestly, the sport moves slower than some superincredibly viscous substance pouring out of an exceptionally tiny aperture! And the endless supply of inane rules and plays and stuff doesn't help matters! I want to watch epic things take place here, not court cases! I'm just saying, there are so many better things to be doing. So many. You have no idea... Although, admittedly, football is still a million times better than Nascar! >.> |

There are less jerks than what is commonly believed to be in the NFL. Sure a lot of them are, but not as much as you would think. And when you are actually interested, the time is a lot shorter. And the rules apply to the actually understanding the game part because well, they're rules. And NASCAR is easily the most dramatic sport I've ever watched (depending on the race) and I would watch more if it weren't for the dick Jimmie Johnson. And of course we all could be doing something better with our time, but why? :3 AND NASCAR IS NOT A HICK THING BEFORE YOU EVEN GO IN THAT DIRECTION. |

| It's cars going around a circle 500 times! That's not interesting, it's a cure for insomnia! Sure the crashes are cool, but i could just get the same thing on Mythbusters, and in far more interesting varieties! And drama? What is this, The Young and the NASCAR? I just don't get it...
I mean, at the very least, could they at least make the track more interesting? Not just the same 4 left turns over and over? *sigh* I guess it's just me... |

| Actually, I kinda like golf. Unlike football and NASCAR, there's all sorts of variety. All sorts of different courses and the like. You gotta think on your feet, not just study the same plays or whatever all the time. Also, pool is cool, too, given that I'm actually pretty decent at it... |

Yea got nothing. I like college football as much or better than NFL football depending on the teams that are playing. |

| Curling is disturbingly hypnotic. I learned this when there was nothing to watch during the winter olympics. Such a weird sport... |

What is so weird about chores being mixed with sliding on ice in spandex? |

| As much as this pains me to say, I think it will be a transition year for my Eagles from what I've seen from the preseason games. Hopefully I am wrong.
And on the bright side for you Dagx, the 49ers look pretty impressive. I think they may actually make the playoffs!

Right, that's an accomplishment. I've never loved the Seahawks like other Seattle sports teams (i.e. Mariners and kind of the Sounders.) but the fact that we've made the playoffs most of the time since the 2005 Super Bowl team is just sad. |

I didn't say they would go far. (But they may though from the way they moved the ball against the Vikings minus a Frank Gore) |
