| I saw a live gameplay demo of this at PAX, and signed up for the Beta. SOOOOO EXCITED FOR 2011 I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT. I dunno how long ago anyone else heard about this, but I don't care. It's pretty amazing. http://www.firefallthegame.com/ | |

| LOOSELY.
Honestly, think Borderlands improved+MMO. And insanely dynamic gameplay involving your friends and yourself making an "army" to get different modes of transportation and quest abilities, along with random quests where you suddenly pair up with people you don't know to defend a town you all use.

I'm only following it loosely so I won't get too hyped. |

| There is no such thing as overhyped for this game, as there really isn't any hype at all.
I just happen to be at PAX, so I know about it.
Oh, and the Penny-Arcade creators were talking about the coolest things at PAX; playing Duke Nukem and the unveiling of Firefall. (Yes, they got to play Duke Nukem. Them and a few other very lucky souls.) So they put Firefall in the same category of awesomeness as Duke Nukem! WOO

I don't get hype that way. I get hyped by reading news and watching trailers of things. And if I do that to much, BAM. Hypemonster. |

| What I don't understand is that we all call ourselves gamers, and yet there is 3 people who care about FireFall here, and only one of them is going insane over it.
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS. | |

WHAT IS THIS MADNESS. I'll get more excited when there is more gameplay vids, previews, and when the release date looms. |

| Its not like getting super excited for something and being let down somewhat is a huge life changing mistake. Take a chance, and if it falls down then hey! One more meaningless mistake to file in the ol' backlogs of memory. | |

| I say you get a jumpstart on everyone else, because then you can say stuff like "I was hyped before you even knew what Red 5 Studios was!" and other witty elitist pokes. | |

| Speaking of Natural Motion, this game uses the Morpheme engine made by them! |

| Very cool style. I wish more devs used a look like that instead of the gritty brown-and-gray stuff so prevalent. | |

| In the first video the first guy to die basically asked for it. And the others didn't even flinch about it or make him stop. The actual gameplay video was very appealing though, so I'll at least take a look at how this game pans out when it releases. | |
