Bethesda will likely find the secret to making it lame.

It took my brother 27 hours to beat Oblivion, as opposed to the like entire summer of nonstop playing to beat Morrowwind.

Sooooo pretty much I haven't really played Oblivion much. Who knows, maybe this one will get me back into the series.

Oblivion was a terrible game.

The only enjoyment I got from it was slaughtering entire towns.

Terrible is being pretty harsh...

I mean, Oblivion was actually pretty good. Just not super great or anything.

I agree with Ithapher's sentiment. The number of options available to the player was messy and just felt incomplete. The most joy I ever got out of the game were the several times I'd installed it, played it for a whole day, then never bothered to return.

Aw, I LOVED Oblivion!
It's just so immersive and epic. I kinda liked how it wasn't perfectly made - it reminds me that the people who make it are only human. Gives it that humble feel to it - like homemade pasta.

Actual gameplay isn't great, but it's more about the story for me.

Morrowind of course was awesome too - but I just can't stand the combat in that game! Sick

The story was presented dull and uninspiring... I felt no immersion. The only thing I thought was epic was.... I forget, there's not much to remember.
