Apparently we didn't have a thread for this ultra popular game. I'm making one now mostly 'cause Ithapher and I are looking to start a 4 player campaign. We can hammer out the details if 2 of you mooks actually sign up. Otherwise we can just use this as a discussion thread for Borderlands.

I am fairly interested in joining, but have some questions.

Will we playing any DLC with it as well?

Are we starting from scratch with new characters? Cause I call not Berserker or Soldier or Siren.

When will we be playing and at what times? There is a three hour time difference between the east and west coast, and on Sunday through friday I could only play until 10PM which is 7PM your time.

We don't own any DLC so it's unintended as of now.

Starting from scratch and getting a campaign going with four players was the intention, yes. Ithapher didn't actually call Hunter but almost invariably would be a better sniper than you are, so you'll have him to deal with if you want that job. So long as no one else wants Soldier then that'll be my role.

I myself am free to play everyday any time, and can't really vouch for when Ithapher would be able to play, though I'm pretty sure the weekends would be fair game for us.

So weekends then?

Okay.

And I will just be Siren then.

You can have hunter if need be, though I will inevitably poke fun at others sniping abilities, if you choose to do so. Plus, I have 2 hunters as is.

I need to try out Siren anyhow.

Well since Ithapher is alright with it, you can make a Hunter if you like, Papy. Which leaves a Berserker as our last open character, unless the next person to consider joining doesn't want to play as him then we'll discuss that when it comes.

Alright, that's four of us. Unless anyone else wants to join and has a less restricting schedule than Papytendo. Tongue

I guess I will be Hunter then. Hey, do you guys want me to record our gameplay?

I'll try to get the bugs out so it doesn't end up like how I did Alien Swarm.

And when will we start?

Alright, so everyone has there role then.

You can record if you'd like to, Papytendo. I for one would choose not to since it'd slow playing down.

Well I'm ready to play at any time- so long as you and Eat Box are willing ot play when Ithapher gets home and he too is willing to play immediately then we could start within the hour.

Oh, and to simplify matters, my Gamespy username is IvanisBest. Add me as that in-game when you're online in Borderlands, it'll make things easier to set up.

I certainly hope you lot enjoyed playing as much as I did. Hopefully we can keep playing in bits and pieces every one in a while.

Eat Box seems to be incapable of fessing up that he probably won't play again on here without being told to. And me and Ithapher ran off to eat at 5 our time and since it is now past 7 we probably will not be playing today.

Also, Papytendo, I schedule NOTHING in advance but possibilities, of which every day of the week is a possibility so please don't ask when- ask IF Ithapher or I want to play. Shifty

Right, well I'm of a mind to play today when Ithapher gets home. So we should do that.

You could still join us, you would just have to catch up on your own time.

Eh, I don't feel like replaying the beginning on a different character alone.

When you guys get to to the Crazy Earl parts of the game let me know.

If you can specify just where the character that you'd want to play with us is at, I can make certain that we stop once we have the quest. So we can all be at as close a point as possible.

I have a level...26 (?) Brick at Krom's Canyon.

I haven't played Borderlands much for about a week, but I'll let you know if I go any farther.

Well Papy is playing a Berserker now too as he was a poor excuse for a Sniper. It's fine if we do have 2 of the same class, but I just wanna make sure- are you sure you'd want to tie up your Berserker to play with us? 'Cause you'd have to be waiting for us to even get games together if you wanted to play with that character.

Ehhhh I dunno. Starting a new class would take forever, but I do like freedom to play when I want on Brick.

Decisions, decisions.
