Master chief is a steroid-pumpin' muscleman with incredibly high-tech weaponry and a space suit that could likely shield him from the complete power of God.

Link, in every game he's been in, is some small-village/forest child/teen who says "GOD DAMN TODAY I FEEL LIKE PUTTING ON GREEN CLOTHES AND RUNNING AROUND STABBING poo."

Yeah, but he's in a fantasy world, meaning he could do whatever the **** he wants.

Master Chief is in a world grounded in realism. Meaning the craziest you can get is lasers and aliens.

Master chief is realistic, you have seen him die millions of times in this parallel world called ''online gaming'', link however has not, and if he does, he reproduces like a bunny.

Well it is quite possible for the future to maybe look like that.

Link's world however can be called an acid trip, this is the least of the cases in Nintendo's world however.
