Lol, who's not calm? Some people were just posting BS about scores and how it was "crap" when that's... well, BS. No one is flipping out here. They're on something if they think a 7.5 and the written review is "crap", that's all.

Though that wrestler guy pic looks pretty nuts.

well, all I can say is... it didn't suck. I was pleased with both of the new episodes and I can't wait for more new episodes!

Futurama was not as good as it was in the past in terms of funny, but the plots stayed interesting and fun to watch.

yeah, they weren't the best episodes ,but I'm hoping that they'll improve over time.

I was laughing a bunch but they still were not the best. I have been reading up on the next episodes and they seem pretty good. This one seems really good though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Late_Philip_J._Fry
Oh and the 100 episode.

Wait, I think I just realized why these episodes feel slightly different!

Due to changes in technology since the original run, the animation of the show has changed slightly due to increases in visual rendering and the like.
While, granted, this does add to the art of the show (which is fantastic, by the way), it also makes the show feel slightly different then we're all used to.
And yeah, obviously, after the long hiatus, the temperaments of the writers probably changed a bit too, so really, the differences should be expected.
At any rate, yeah, it's a bit different, but it's still pretty good.
Hopefully it will improve, though, after the writers get back into the swing of things...

I don't know why but I found that line really funny.

I loved the first episode and really didn't enjoy the second. But I'm thrilled it's back, so I can forgive the lack of love I have for the second episode. It was just too "Late night TV" instead of classic Futurama. V-Giny? Seriously? Sigh.

Anyway, I laughed for 10 minutes about the Stem Cell jokes. "Go Stem Cells! Work your amazing scientific nonsense!" Lol.

Haha, yeah.
Also, good thing they used adult stem cells!
A lot fewer moral qualms in those...
Well, except for the professor's method, but still...


And yeah, the second episode did have a bit too much of a perverted bent to it, but I thought it was still pretty funny.
Especially the Transcredible Exploits of Zapp Brannigan!

Edit: Also, apparently, the V-GINY was a parody of the V'Ger from the first Star Trek movie.
Okay, that's a bit more clever. HUMOUR SECURED!

But it's OFFICIAL.

I missed having more Bender moments. They really didn't use him much in these first two episodes. I'm sure that will change, but still.
