Smaller, sleeker, newer, stronger, faster, red ring proof?
Well, it can't red ring, it is programmed to never light up the lights red (except for the center one).
The GPU and CPU chips have been combined, reduced in size, and covered in a "Heat spreader". So whether or not it actually helps I can't be sure, but it certainly lowers the chance of successful home repairs. However, it's no longer made by ATI, so that's fills me with joy and bubbles.
The disc is less secure in the tray now, go to destrucoid and you'll see what happens when you move the system around with a disc inside (here's a hint, lots of god damn scratches).
Built in Wifi and a 250GB hard drive in a secret compartment are certainly upgrades.
