| I am disappointed in everyone. Scott Pilgrim made less money this weekend than Inception. Inception's been out for, what, a month? That, and three other movies that apparently aren't that great beat it. For shame, audience. | |

| Well, The Expendables and Eat, Pray, Love came out during the weekend as well. The Expendables I can understand, it's a pretty good action movie from what I hear. Eat, Pray, Love is just a bunch of feminist bollocks really.
Scott Pilgrim is a nerdy indie movie that, while I hate to say it at the risk of sounding pretentious, a lot of people can't appreciate, unless they understand the pop culture surrounding it.

It kicked ass. More ass than Kick-Ass, I might say.
Oh and it was hilarious. *Waits for angry Jay* Well now let me re-phrase that.
Kick-Ass was more violent. Scott Pilgrim was more awesome.
THERE. I think you underestimate the awesomeness of Kick Ass. Then again that film had a loooot of hype around it by the time it came out, Scott Pilgrim though? Barely seen it mentioned at all anywhere.

I've kind of seen the opposite of that too. A lot more advertisements for Scott Pilgrim, though a lot less hype among real people for it.

| I bought all six books, read 'em, then watched the movie.
The books were awesome. I agree with Gitaroo though, the ending was a bit weird. As for the movie... on its own, its great. But next to the series it was pretty meh. I prefer Kick-Ass.
