Colleges are confusing... I'm not sure if I should do an Undergraduate course in Astrophysics, and then specialise my Post-grad masters in some other areas, or do an undergrad course in normal physics, then specialise my post-grad masters in Astrophysics....

Go to an open day and ask, although I'd say the second one sounds better unless you really really want a career in astro physics.

First go look for the job you want out there in the real world. Then contact the people who hold that job and those above them and explain you're a student who wants to follow that path and what would they suggest? You can't go wrong with that method. A lot of times the people in the colleges don't fully know what will get you the job you want but the people who HAVE the job obviously know.

I went to the open day, and they gave me those two choices.

I think I'll go with the first one actually, since University of Cork doesn't do Astronomy Masters...

Would probably be more interesting really, and less people would do it so less competition.

I know it would be more interesting, but quite a few people do it, actually. I was told there's not a huge amount of employment in it though, so I guess covering other areas of physics would be necessary too.

For some reason, I loled really loud when you said University of Cork.

And what JKR said is probably the best way to go.

And I just learned my high school has C++ Programming. :D
