Oh yeah, there's a new Harry Potter movie.

It's getting good reviews and I'll probably see it on Thanksgiving so I don't have to do any preparations.

I like the books (except for the fifth one and the TERRIBLE last chapter of the final book) but not a fan of the movies. A friend of mine is obsessed though, and she went last night at midnight. I'll have to ask her what she thought.

Also I don't understand how they can make this two movies. The last book was 700 pages of them wandering around in the woods and about 20 pages of something actually happening. Oh and 10 pages of people dying because J.K. Rowling wanted to make kids cry.

I'm going to see it tomorrow. Not a huge fan in general, and I skipped the Goblet of Fire and the Order of the Phoenix, but I found Half Blood Prince pretty good. Plus, I'm in the mood for a cinema film so, meh.

You got to realize how smart movie critics are these days.

And realize that four opinions to not make overall bad reviews. That just means some people don't like it.

tbh review wise is struggling to break 3 stars

Saw it yesterday. The visuals were fantastic, but I thought it kind of jumped around to each scene a bit too much. That, and the ending wasn't really an ending at all, just literally the end of the first half.

tbh the Harry potter films went downhill after the second one.

well he tried to make it more real and got rid of all the magic.

changed the clothes to normal clothes which went against the whole point that they don't wear 'muggle' clothes.

I wasn't sure why I lost interest after the first two but I think you just hit the nail on the head.

That and I specifically remember a scene in the 3rd or 4th where Dumbledore gets panicy and rather physically grabs Harry. I was just like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? Dumbledore be a mellow man, he wunt be grabbin no boys!"

Though having said that...

I kinda just like all the movies in their own way, except for Order of the Phoenix (which kinda sucked). I do admit they got a lot different after the second, but my feelings toward the changes kind of balanced out.
