OH KAY GUYS I HAS AN EPIC STORY FOR YOU

Alright, so our morning announcements at school are always somehow on the tv, okay? Alright, so today, right after everyone was finished talking, it cut to these people playing SSBM live. It would've been awesome if they hadn't sucked at the game, but how many times do you get to cut through five minutes of class to watch people play Smash bros, right?

Oh man, Roy is too good at Halo 3. I've just been watching the MLG Stride Championship Series, and its insane how good he and Lunchbox are. It almost motivates me enough to actually finish saving for a 360 and Halo 3.

When your playing at the level they are, that's impossible. During the week they have school (whether its high-school or college, doesn't matter.) and on the weekends they fly somewhere and play in MLG series with the rest of their squad. It helps that top players earn enough money to cover airfare and hotel costs, with a little surplus money on the side. But those are the top guys. Everyone who can devote this kinda time really loves the game, so it all works out. People who play MLG games really love the games or they wouldn't be spending the money to play it, without out the guaranteed to get money back by winning.

it's not a real profession. They get on some crappy tournament which is shown on channel 956 or something.

So your saying that after these guys get out of college (which is generally when pro gaming careers end) that nobody will give them a job in their chosen profession, of which they earned a degree in while going to college because they were a gamer? I'm not talking about a job at some store, but about a job you have to be qualified for. No one cares what you did for a job before that, but how well your qualified. Which your college degree should say you are.
