| If you own Fallout 3 (which you should), you probably have a few good stories to tell, as well as some tips to give. Instead of cramming the GotY thread with them, post them here, for all to read!
First off, if you happen to have a Bad Karma, stop by Paradise Falls. You can become a slaver. Although you gain a lot of bas karma from each slave, you also get a lot of caps (250 per slave), and it's really fun. There is the main slaver quest (where you enslave specific characters), but you can also turn nameless NPC's (random wastelanders, raiders, scavengers etc.) into slaves. I would recommend that you never try to enslave a named NPC if they aren't from the main quest, because they will either attack you, or there head will explode (a side effect of the gun used to enslave people). It's impossible to enslave a named NPC.
Also, an awesome gun I found is the Alien Blaster. You find it near a crashed spaceship, in the hand of an "alien". The space ship is hard to find, but there is a strange radio signal near the spaceship, which gives off random sounds. The gun is extremely powerful (killing all types of Super Mutants in around 2 shots). Look out for it.

| AMAGAD, you guys must pick up Lincoln's Repeater rifle. MUST. This is easily the best medium-to-long range small guns rifle in Fallout. It is especially rape sauce when you fiya with the Commando, Sniper, and Concentrated fire's perk. It should be in the display case on the top floor of the Museum of American Offices.

| I'd heard of the alien blaster, but not Lincoln's thing... I'll have to find it.
What kind of strategy did you all take when playing? I went super high in repair (87, or something like that), small guns, and melee, and I got the grim reaper perk so that my VATS refills if I kill whatever I'm locked on to. It's a nice combination because all my small guns are in such excellent condition that they're uber-powerful in and of themselves, and because my agility and luck is so high, I'm really, really good with them (especially in VATS... So many critical hits). I can kill pretty much anything with an assault rifle (or a combat shotgun for tougher people), and then I repair all the enemies' items into one or two in incredibly good condition, which I sell for craploads since my barter skill is also really high. If you take down a lot of Enclave people at once and repair their laser stuff... *Drool*. You can get like 1000+ caps for a single one of their weapons. It got to the point where I actually ran out of places to sell stuff to because I had taken all their caps, and I had to start buying a bunch of crap that I was planning on buying a lot later on... My house in Megaton has everything that Moira was selling. :P

<33333333333333333 I found that... but I didn't realise it was a funtional weapon. I was sent by some slavers to get Abraham Lincoln's items, and sell it back to them. I probably should've kept it, I only got 100 caps for it - Wraith wrote:

/rant I got Lockpicking, Science, Speech, and Small Guns all to 100. When I reached level 20, I chose the Explorer Perk. I simply like finding new areas, and Bethesda made sure that almost all locations have some sort of history. Also, in Tenpenny Tower, I saved up a lot of money for a Jukebox (this was when I was around Level 3). I finally got it, but it never worked. I was left with 2 guns and 30 caps. I own a Ghoul Mask after helping some Ghouls invade Tenpenny Towers. Now, as long as I wear the mask, no Feral Ghouls will attack me. I can still wear armor over the mask I would just like to say this: while the main quest was quite dry, the Tranquility Lane quest was amazing. I took the good karma route, then loaded back and did the bad karma route. Both were satisying and fun, and there was something weirdly awesome about putting on a mask and chasing down every single resident with a knife :lmao:
