The Indiana Jones movies [spoilers]

right, so i finally got round to seeing the Crystal Skull, and honestly.. I thought it was very good.
What's with the hate? Seriously, the only pretty bad things were the Tarzan swinging, and the UFO looked a bit too futuristic imo. (woulda looked better like an ancient styled UFO)

But as for the aliens, i mean... theyre just as believable (if not more so) then say, evil spirits in a box.


So.. imo

3 > 1 > 4 >>>>>2

It jumped the shark.
I can understand ANCIENT ghosts protecting an ANCIENT artefact.
But ANCIENT people protections FUTURISTIC aliens, well...

I added the spoilers tag since I haven't seen the last one but now have a pretty good idea of what happens.

Anyway. For me, it's 3 > 1 > 2.

It's just way too hard to follow compared to the other ones...
The plot went nowhere fast...

It just didn't feel... Indy-ish at all.
Sounds odd, but it just doesn't have the same feeling as the older ones.

i watched all the films pretty much back to back, so i have a fresh memory and opinion of all of them.
It feels like the Temple of Doom (which sucked) but mixes it with the first movie.

So, what you get is a silly film, but lots of action and a good watch.
None of the characters were bloody annoying like on Temple of Doom though. Also made some references to the previous films which was nice.

I liked it okay. It wasn't my favorite, but it was a fun movie to watch. I still like Temple of Doom best. Probably because it was the first I saw.

Temple of Doom tried to be crap imo
little annoying kid - check
annoying loud mouth woman - check
crappy story - check

At least the templar didn't loving fly away at the end of the 3rd film.

I think it's clear that I hate the film really. ._.

The story, the supporting cast, the locations, the fridge and mostly the shitty CGI.

The alien skeletons all merging into one and opening up a dimensional rift and files from underneath eldarado to the portal with russian soldiers was just the final blow for me really.

You obviously havn't read the comics then

To be honest I've never heard of them.

KotCS's aliens were a bit annoying and seemed a little out of place, but I did like the movie.

As it being the only Indy movie I've seen... I liked it. :stare:

I've only seen the 4th and 1st one.

I enjoyed it, had some really good action scenes in it.

But there were several parts of the plot - the aliens included - that really didn't fit...

Then again, it's like that in a lot of action movies these days.
