Really? Because I used to love Earl... Hmm... Maybe I should watch this show you speak of.

I have found myself TREMENDOUSLY addicted to the new show Nikita. Yeah, I admit it, I started watching because the lead character has a lot of very pleasing outfits and doesn't seem to own any clothing that isn't form fitting. But after a few episodes, I'm now anxiously awaiting the next show every week to see what happens. It's a great story and really suspenseful.

And happily so.

I don't sit around and fantasize about actresses playing fictional characters. One thing is real, and the other is not. To deny beauty in something is silly, though. It has nothing to do with me being married, and much more to do with me as an artist being a visually oriented person. The male lead of the show is also extremely good looking. Though in the last episode there was a flashback without his scruffy beard, and he wasn't quite as charming.

it starts on Thursday here

it's the only show on sky one which looks good from the adverts so gonna check it out

Raising Hope looks awful, American Sitcoms generally are.

The only great sitcoms airing right now are HIMYM, Modern Family, 30 Rock and Community. All others range from OK to god awful.

I sure didn't. And Modern Family is overrated, HIMYM sucked last season (BUT ONLY THAT SEASON), and I can't really speak for the last two.

Raising Hope is pretty damn good though. Created by Greg Garcia (creator of My Name is Earl) and it still has the southern feel to Raising Hope but the characters are less caricatured.

Not really. There aren't that many great ones, but there is not as many bad ones as you would think.

Definitely worth a watch, considering the first handful of episodes are written by Greg Garcia.

You will love Raising Hope. It's impossible to not.

And I'll keep an eye out for Nikita.

I hate not being able to stream things on Uni internet, then I could watch all these sitcoms your talking about.

Or just, you know, do what I normally do and watch South Park and stream football matches...

Doh, they only have the last few episodes on Hulu. Sigh...

Well, I guess I can try to catch up when it comes out on DVD or something.

I agree with the first part. And I can see how you don't like The Middle. It's pretty much what a American family is like and is very relateable to us. It is pretty annoying though when my sister starts bursting out laughing when Brick talks under his breath. Otherwise it is a very good show to us.

i already watched Malcolm in Middle, don't want to watch a rip off which is worse in every way.
