Yeah. In the books, Hermione wasn't at ALL attractive. She was a nerd. The casting for the movies was stupid.

College is after High School when you are 18 here.

Most people stop after that, but some will go to Grad School so they can get a better job.

No, no, the book described her as buck-toothed and not very attractive. I didn't just add that in myself.
