It is SO refreshing that I don't have to take a world language anymore. Seriously. I don't have any classes in the day where I just can't stand to be in for an hour and a half.
What is so bad about a world language class?
I take German and it is my favorite class of the day. (Mainly because there is 36 kids in the class so we never get caught throwing stuff out the window)

I hate trying to speak a different language besides ASL.
And all the world languages teachers are sadistic.
I like my science, math, and tech classes.

From my WoW money so far, I've bought Borderlands GotY, Counterstrike: Source, and just now, Trackmania 2. That's about 35 euro worth of games, which will hopefully help me last until Christmas. Trackmania looks really fun, and you guys should consider buying it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sB4uuXBG44 200 player racing? Hell yes.

Oh man, I've been obsessing over the new Trackmania for days, why haven't I mentioned it to you guys?
Anyway, you should tell me how the multiplayer beta is.

I see, my German teachers have been pretty cool.
They let us do more stuff than most teachers.

@Papy: The teachers actually play a very small role in making world languages terrible for me. They could make it better, since I dislike the classes themselves, but if I enjoyed the subject it wouldn't matter. The only languages offered are Spanish, French, and Japanese and I don't want to speak any of those.

It must be very difficult to teach languages. Growing up and learning Irish was really not easy. The only way most teachers could teach it was just by getting you to learn off EVERYTHING. I now know so many verbs, and their gender-based usage, but I have no idea what they actually mean.

Oh I'm sure its difficult, and endlessly frustrating.
And it doesn't help I have no will to learn a different language (besides ASL.).

Why does that make any sense at all?
Any new MMO that has any hopes of taking off almost has to run this business model. The old model, especially with a non-mainstream retail, is quite simply outdated. You can't expect a game to compete with WoW, soon TOR, soon GW2, unless you go Freemium.
Its like LoL vs. HoN. I'll explain that to you if you'd like.

Well for me, any game that I see is free-to-play, is normally not good, or purposely broken for those who have money.

Reminds me of this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns-IIn-DG-c Granted Free to Play is vastly different from Buy to Play, as Free to Play usually has cash shops that make it Pay to Win. In some Korean F2P MMO's you actually end up having to pay hundreds in the cash shop, or suffer hours of tedious grinding. Not the best model as you can imagine...

Once again, you obviously just haven't played enough of the good F2P games to have perspective.
1) Freemium is a little different than F2P, since you can buy in-game items. Yes, micro-transactions can ruin a game, but they also can be put into place for only aesthetic value. Firefall's devs have pledged the micro-transactions will have no effect on the actual gameplay at all, and I trust them to follow through. Especially because at PAX, they showed us the cash shop and it only held skins and such.
2) Since people will blow some money on the game, and maybe even continuously buy things, Red 5 ends up making way more money than just a standard retail price. Subscriptions scare people, freedom to spend money causes people to spend inordinate amounts of money on a "free" game.
3) Extended cash flow allows Red 5 to continuously update the game and their servers. This is good for everyone.
EDIT: Oh sorry Gitaroo, I didn't see your post. Red 5 saw that problem, and is going to lengths to make sure that the cash shop has no effect on gameplay.

Eh, look's alright. A lot of MMO's are going for really new styles of combat to make it more competitive by the looks of things. But still, the only MMO I'm fixing to play is GW2.
Oh man. I've discovered how easy to make and delicious cheese toasties are. Using burger buns + cheese + meat (ham in this case) and chilli powder makes one fine midnight snack.
