1. There's a heat wave going on and I don't have an AC in my room.

2. My friend and I already plan to kick sentry ass when the update goes live. WHO SAYS UBERING A SPY IS BAD?

Although I do understand why you would refrain from playing TF2 during a heat wave, who is to say this heat wave will have ended when the update goes live?

So I was playing on one of my favorite servers when a person in it destroyed his golden wrench, which was No. 27.

Let me tell you, hysterical reaction from 85% of the server.

I'd heard that it was destroyed, but you were on the same server as the guy who did? Tell me more about what happened.

Not much. It just said he'd destroyed it, and then it was like "wait he's on this server!"

Everyone who cared started freaking out. He didn't say anything.

Well, they did sorta access info that wasn't really supposed to be accessed and made a site revolving around said info. Valve should just offer him a job there.

Looks like the drops were actually timed the entire time. Not completely random like valve said.

Since item drops are based on an algorithm they are only random in theory.

This whole wrench business was a bad idea to begin with.

Yep. I crafted generally all of my items.

So you wreckon this Wrangler thing is going to be all that useful - Surely a gun that aims automatically with perfect accuracy is going to be better than manual control? It'd probably stop people who edge around corners just enough to hit but still be out of sight... Maybe.

I guess its more fun than just standing behind a sentry and constantly whacking.

The way I see it, it's a vast improvement over the pistol, and if one Engineer in a group of Engineers takes it, then he can take care of the people who try exploiting a sentries inabilities. On your own your probably better off without but you're not rendered incapable thanks to the 66% damage resistance.

Frontier justice seems to be a better choice of shotguns when using the wrangler.

No, these has pre-determined times. Like wrench No. X would drop at Y am/pm PST. And the first person to craft would get one.
